As green energy, wind power is the most promising renewable energy that is being developed on large scale at present in American and European countries. According to investigation for market, the 750kW Wind Turbine is welcomed very much now. It is designed for a central controller of the electric control system of the 750kW Adaptive Pitch and Direct -driven Wind Turbine in thesis.At first, contrast analyses are offered for the connected grid characteristic of synchronous generator and asynchronous generator in detail. Grid connection adopted by frequency converter is necessary for variable speed operation of the large scale wind turbine generator, on the basis of which advantages and disadvantages are given for grid connection run of direct -driven generator of permanent magnet, it is presented that configuration of control system;According to basic theory on wind turbine, it is best means that utilization ratio is enhanced through technology of both variable speed and adaptive blade pitch, which is mainly developing tendency from now on.On the basis of the requirement that is safe control and unattended operation for wind turbine for 24 hours, several staring type of wind turbine generator and yawing control strategy are explained at length as well as stopping type. All kinds of function finished by central controller are expounded in thesis.Based on requisition of electric control system, input and output signals of central controller are analyzed ,then model and hardware configuration are determined, on account of programming concept of modularization, it is designed that flow chart of principal program, flow diagram of yaw system and flow chart of variable blade pitch control, homologous measurements of safe protection are offered .Especially, it is analyzed that control process of variable pitch system in detail, hydraulic principle graph and control principle chart of proportional valve are offered, FB41 in STEP7 called soft PID is adopted to control variablepitch system, simulating curve graph is presented in thesis;Secondly, it is analyzed that soft ware of FM350-2 counting function module, programming flow chart and application method are given;It is expounded to design HMI by ProTool and to build connection between upper monitor computer and PLC by PRODAVE. Finally, it is discussed to offer reliability design for central controller based on both hardware and software.
