The Maximum Entropy Method On Reliability Design Of Several Components Of Vehicle

The reliability and safe of mechanical structures is one of the major objectivesof mechanical structures design. Parameter uncertainty of mechanical structures isinherent in most engineering problems, and loads that are applied to the mechanicalstructures are same random. Thus, the random structure systems with randomparameters subjected to random loads are appeared. The research on reliability ofthe uncertain systems is very important for design purposes. The reliability analysisof mechanical structures can help the designer to establish acceptable tolerances onmechanical structures and govern the fluctuations of the system parameters for safeoperations. In the end, the reasonable mechanical structures could be designed withenough reliability.Based on the traditional methods of random variables probability densityfunction and reliability calculation, the paper set up two models that based on theprinciple of maximum entropy. One is the model of random variables probabilitydensity;the other is the model of disabled probability of construction. It gets theroots by analyzing the model in theory and calculating it by Fortran. Thissubroutine of the maximum entropy provides the least biased estimate of theprobability density function for the state equation on the condition of first fourmoments of original random variables known, and the reliability of automobilecomponents.A practical and effective numerical method of reliability design with arbitrarydistribution parameters is proposed in the point. Techniques from the maximumentropy method, the reliability design theory and probabilistic engineering designare employed to present an approach for the reliability design with arbitrarydistribution parameters,therefore maximizing the entropy of the state equationdistribution should lead to the least biased estimate of its form, It does theelementary analysis for the reliability design of automobile components.
