The traffic construction of tourism is like a " double-edged sword ", while bringing about an advance in tourist industry , cause influence and destroy on the ecological environment in the tourist zone, jeopardize the sustainable development of tourist industry. The building of tourism highway landscape is a compensation for the ecological environment along the line of the tourism highway.Based on the synthetical study of the current situation and tourist highway landscapeplanning and design relevant foundation of theory in comprehensive analysis highwaylandscape, This paper mainly researches on the concept of tourist highway, the compose oftourist highway landscape , the methods of planning and design , tourist highway landscapepurpose and significance of planning and design.
