Research On The Rural Tourist Areas Landscape Planning Of Jiangning District Of Nanjing

After10years of development, the rural tourism in Jiangning District of Nanjing hasbecome rural tourist areas with certain scale and quality from the early Nongjiale. Under thebackground in China of building socialist new rural areas and coordinating the developmentbetween cities and countries, the construction of rural tourist areas is strongly supported bythe government of all levels. With the social and economic development, the people’s livingstandard keeps improving. More and more urban people eager to escape from the city duringtheir leisure time to countries, where they can play, relax, experience and be close to thenature. The rural tourist areas in the suburb just meet the needs of the urban people. Thedevelopment of rural tourist areas not only can meet urban people′s needs of playing andrelax, but also can accelerate the construction of socialist new rural areas, narrow the gapbetween cities and countries, improve the rural issues to a certain degree. However, thedevelopment of rural tourist areas in our country is still in the primary stage. There is lack ofrelevant theoretical research and practical guidance, so it remains to be further studied.Therefor, in this case, the research on rural tourist areas landscape planning and design is veryimportant and significant to the construction of socialist new rural areas and the developmentof rural tourism in our country. Also it is the issue for the rural tourist construction anddevelopment of Jiangning District of Nanjing.This research firstly has expounded the background of China’s rural tourist development,summarized the relevant research status about the rural tourism and rural landscape planninginside and outside of China, defined the concept of rural tourism, rural tourist areas and ruraltourist landscape planning, and also has analyzed the points of rural tourist areas landscapeplanning and design.Secondly, on the basis of extensive investigation and survey of the rural tourist areas inJiangning District of Nanjing, the author has investigated deeply seven areas of the FiveGolden Flowers and the New Five Golden Flowers, which are the areas that JiangningDistrict focused on building, and analyzed the problems during the construction ofJiangning’s rural tourist landscape. And against the existent problems, the author proposedsome principles and strategies for Jiangning’s rural tourist areas landscape planning which canbe a guidance for it in the future.Finally, with the above principles and strategies, and against Shi Ao Tao Yuan, theactual project of Jiangning’s rural tourist areas landscape planning, the author presented alandscape planning and design program for it to guide the village construction, so as toachieve the harmonious development of the rural tourism and the local residents’ life.
