Land consolidation, as an important means of harmonizing the human-land relationship and realizing optimal allocation of land resource, is playing a more and more significant role in the aspects of efficiently reducing the human-land conflict and resolving the problem of land use. To solve the problem of water resource in agricultural production is one of the most important engineering measures;therefore, scientifically analyzing the water resource is very important in land consolidation.This dissertation, based on analyzing the content of the water resource analysis and its vital role in land consolidation, analyzes the water resource characteristics in land consolidation of Chongqing city, with Chongqing's regional characteristics.The whole dissertation is divided into five parts:The first part is an overall introduction, which consists of the background and significance of thesis selection, current state of land consolidation study around the world, and the research thinking-way and methods of the thesis.The second part analyzes the important role and main content of water resource analysis in land consolidation.The third part introduces natural environment and social economical environment of Chongqing, especially, makes the detailed introduction to the natural environment affecting the water resource in land consolidation. And then, the main characteristics of water resource in land consolidation are analyzed.The fourth part: the paper, to the two main regions of land consolidation in Chongqing, chooses two different typical instances to conduct empirical research on theproblem of water resource in land consolidation.The conclusion and the discussion are presented in. the fifth part. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Carrying on land consolidation in Chongqing, the water resource has following several characteristics:One, precipitation extremely is rich in Chongqing;the effective precipitation is very march, total quantity of the water resource does not lack. In addition, the shine, the heat and the rain come in the same season;it is extremely advantageous to crops' growth.Two, water resource distribution in space and time is imbalanced. The low and level district collecting the water is easy to have the flooding for multi- rainstorms precipitation in summer. At the same time, the hot disaster can also lead to the seasonal water shortage and restrict the development of agricultural production.2. In Chongqing, the goal of hydraulic engineering in land consolidation is to solve the problem of water resources seasonal insufficiency and the uneven regional distribution. To the key point, is to solve the problem of irrigation during the seasonal lack of water and discharging the flood.3. Through the water resources analysis of two examples in land arrangement in the purple earth area and in the karst's mountain area in land arrangement in Chongqing, we know that the contradictory between water resources supply and demand has much heterogeneity. The water resources total quantity is rich;the space and time distribution is uneven. Because the match between the water and soil resource is different, there are big differences to use the water resourcesIn purple earth area, the groundwater is deficient;the surface water resource is rich. To resolve the contradictory of water resource supply and demand, it is necessary to fully use the surface water resource, depending upon the pit pond, the reservoir, and splashes stands and so on;to reasonably build the water conservancy facilities to meet the agricultural production needs in irrigation.In the karst's mountain area, the surface water is easy to seep, to drain. The ground water resource is rich. To resolve the contradictory of water resource supply anddemand, it is necessary to full reasonably uses the ground water, moreover, build miniature hydraulic engineering in the suitable place to store up the surface water, and rationally distribute water resource.4. Chongqing is in the south moist area. We may know there are remarkable differences to the water resource between the northern half arid half moist and southern moist area. Therefore, in the land arrangements, we should persist in the principle —suit measures to local conditions in water resources analysis and land arrangements measure. According to concrete actual situation of the water resources, the corresponding land arrangements measures should be implemented, the same pattern cannot be adopted. To different land arrangements area, the earnest careful analysis must be carried on the local natural condition, the water and soil resources condition, to discover the restrictive factor of the water and soil resources in the agricultural production. Thus, the reasonable engineering design can be proposed to solve the problem of water resource.
