Creep of concrete consists of approximate linear creep at the level of low stress and nonlinear creep at the level of high stress. However, at the lever of low stress, the linear constitutive model of concrete can be applied, but at the level of high stress, the linear constitutive model of concrete cannot be adopted for its nonlinear characteristic. The nonlinear constitutive model of concrete creep analysis is discussed. On the platform of ANSYS finite element software, the program is developed which can be calculated and imitated the process of the creep stress & strain by the time.Finally, the author realized three-dimension nonlinear finite element simulative analysis for Jiangxi Province Pingxiang city ShanKouYan arch dam, imitated the loading course of the arch dam, analyzed concrete creep effect on its stress, revealed the weak link of the dam, which have offered essential reference for design, optimization, constructing and operating of the arch dam.
