| For short or medium long bridges, canceling the expansion devices has many advantages. Except for avoiding the usual problems referring to the expansion, it can play down the build and the maintenance cost, make the travel comfort and smooth and improve aseismatic capability.First, the research achievements on jointless bridge in the worldwide are introduced. Taking the jointless bridge been built as the model, finite method analysis is proposed by using the software ANSYS. The mechanical properties of the bridge is investigated under the cases of permanent load, temperature load, pier subside, driveway load. The comparison between jointless bridge and joint bridge shows that the difference about mechanical characteristic exists. The results obtained can be expected to provide some theoretical reference to the design of jointless bridge. |
