The rolling bearing is one of important part of revolving machine, which affects the operation of machine and the future of factories. It is reported that the proportion of the malfunction caused by the rolling bearing is 30% in revolving malfunction. So, many countries have been researching the diagnostic of rolling bearing. In this paper, we introduced A Malfunction-Diagnosing System based on Wavelet-transform, the abnormal phenomena or faults of the rolling bearing will be diagnosed in time and accurately. The core of system is TMS320VC5402 digital signal processor (DSP) that produced by Texas Instrument. We also introduced the principle of wavelet-transform and the method in carrying out the wavelet-transform algorithm and the application of the wavelet-transform in fixed-point DSP. All processes of the development of the system, which is consists of three main modules: signal-gathering module, signal-processing module and data-communication module. We described the hardware-designing and software in this paper. We can get the result of the experimentof DSP that has been compared with the simulated data.In the end of this paper, we discussed what will be done for perfecting this system.
