The Research Of Entrance

The history of gate is studied to find out what is the unchangeable thing in the changeable phenomena. It is shown that the functional and cultural meaning to human beings that make gate the common owed space by people in deferent culture. The relation between gate and space and society is discussed. And based on it, the method to design a considerate entrance space is produced. The major research works are outlined as follows:1. From the point of Phenomenology of Architecture, entrance space is analyzed. The research emphasize on human feel to entrance space, which is in accordance with the tendency of humanistic design.2. The principles of "interactive design" of morden entrance space are produced for the first time. An "interactive" entrance space should be reachable, mulriple, great-hearted, rich and colorful, bardian, discriminating, and comfortable in sight.3. The interactive relation between human being and entrance space is grasped and the traditional principles of entrance design are broken through. The object that traditional position principle analyses is the function or form of entrance, while what the principles of interactive design analyses is the relation: relation between entrance and surroundings, relation between human-being and entrance space, relation between entrance and society and culture.4.The design of entrance is under more broaden cultural field of vision, which leads to more cogitative outcome.5.The Chinese thought of "DAO" is connected with western theory of architecture, which is constructive in research of theory of design.
