Application Of Zhou Culture In Landscape Design Of Xi’an City West Entrance

With the deepening of urban development and construction,the cultural demonstration representative function of urban entrance has been paid more and more attention,and the historical value,humanistic value and economic value of urban entrance landscape are constantly being excavated.People in the cultural diversity of today,began to pursue the enjoyment of spiritual and cultural aspects,rich in regional urban history and culture by people’s attention,Xi ’ an "Zhou Qin Han Tang" Four heyday culture has become the representative of Xi ’ an city culture.As an important node city of "Belt and Road",Xi ’ an has played a driving role in economic and cultural development,and the XI ’ an municipal government has put forward the "Great XI ’ an strategic plan".Under the pattern of urban development planning,the new urban western entrance expands outward to the location of Yangling district,which is also the concentrated area of Xi ’ an Zhou cultural resources.How to build the west entrance space of Xi ’ an Xincheng city,which can represent the cultural characteristics of the city and enhance the sense of urban belonging,has become an important subject of common concern of urban planners and landscape designers.To inherit the connotation of Zhou culture and enhance the soft power of Xi’an culture is an important mission of the West Entrance Landscape of Xi’an City.Based on the theory of urban landscape,this paper explores the design method of urban West entrance under the planning of "Daxi".Based on the cultural connotation and characteristics of Zhou culture and the case study of Zhou cultural landscape design,the necessity and principles of its application to the landscape design of Xi’an urban West entrance are analyzed from four aspects: the location of urban entrance,the needs of urban construction,the spiritual and cultural needs of the people,and the impact on the development of urban cultural tourism industry.In addition,the preliminary conclusion of Zhou culture in Xi’an City West Entrance Landscape Design application and design methods,that is,through the collection of cultural connotations,the application of spatial layout,the embodiment of landscape nodes and other application methods,combined with restoring reproduction,drawing lessons from imitation,symbolic metaphor,Abstract exaggeration design methods,reflecting the connotation and essence of Zhou culture.In the early stage of the design section,the success and shortcomings of the system of Xi’an City West Entrance are analyzed,and the project location is determined according to the "Greater Xi’an" plan.According to the previous research results of design theory,combined with Zhou culture elements,the western entrance landscape of Xi’an city is designed,and the key parts of the design are described in detail,so that the design of the urban entrance landscape of Xi’an can effectively carry out the practice and verification of the previous theoretical research on the premise of meeting the basic conditions.
