With the rapid development of production and science and technology, the machines and equipments is becoming more and more high-speed, high-efficiency, precision, lightweight and automatic, the structure of productions is more and more complex, so we need better performance. If we need the machines and equipments work well, the must be designed with good static and dynamic performance.Modern mechanical structure dynamic design is produced in the background, and it is one of the hot fields studied of the vibration engineering in these years. Today, in order to improve our mechanical production, to get high performance at the least cost is a new problem in the program of mechanical design. So, we'd better know the static and dynamic performance of mechanical structures in advance, and many mechanical engineers want to know and master the advanced method. Therefore, our study on the mechanical design and analysis is very meaningful.This paper takes some underwater vehicle for example, with the advanced dynamics analysis method and vibration measurement method, apply the dynamic design method combined between theory modeling and experiment modeling to the design and analysis of the shell structure of the underwater vehicle. On the base of studying the FEM and experiment modal analysis deeply, our job completed in the paper is as follows.At first, with the finite element method, based on the large-scale FEA(finite element analysis) software ANSYS, this paper models the dynamics FEA model of the deep-water bomb, and calculates the vibration characteristic and the dynamics response of the structure, so it provides theory basis for the shell structure vibration forecast, dynamics modification and design. And this paper analyses the model of the deep-water bomb by EMA(experiment mode analysis) after the FEA. the In order to prove the credibility of experiment results, we experimentalized for two times by the PULSE multi-instrument and virtual instrument differently, and we get pulse response time history curve, frequency response curve and coherence function curve by experiment. The test result proves that the experiment is credible. We compare the experiment result with the theory analysis, and we find that the error of the theory calculation is acceptable, so the finite element modeling is reasonable.In order to get better dynamics characteristic of the structure, in this paper, we also study sensitivity analysis technology, and modify dynamics of the shell structure sample. So far, we have applied well the dynamic design of mechanical structure to engineering.
