Research On VV&A Torpedo Homing System Simulation

With the extension of application of system simulation technology, peoples who use or manage the simulation system emphasize the accuracy and correctness of models and simulation results. The simulation credibility is the lifeline simulation system forever. Verification, validation and accreditation (VV&A) for modeling and simulation are becoming increasingly important to ensure the validity and credibility of simulation system. The thesis studies on some key technologies such as model validation, credibility evaluation and logic behavior formal verification for distributed interactive simulation in the simulation of Torpedo Homing System.Summarizing the main research directions and research results about theory of VV&A are and analyzing basic theory of VV&A including defines, objectives, principles, methods and process, the thesis discusses the VV&A and evaluation of simulation credibility.According to the development of simulation of torpedo homing system, the whole process of VV&A of torpedo homing system simulation is studied, and then, how to verify and validate the M&S and half- practicality model of torpedo homing system is illuminated. A method of validation of simulation system based on fuzzy AHP is investigated, by which the evaluation target of the credibility of simulation system is got. A corresponding simulation model is constructed based on the real data of torpedo homing system, and methods how to validate the model and their validity, ranges of application are studied.The conception and property of time-frequency distribution is discussed. Some response problems of VV&A such as model verification and parameter validation are solved in means of time-frequency distribution and 2-D correlative function.The software of response of simulation result validation of homing system and simulation software of homing system are designed and implemented, which can be used in the methodology of VV&A of the whole torpedo homing system.Finally the main work is concluded and prospective research direction is presented.
