In this paper, based on fiber-optic gyro principle of operation, we analyzed the stay non- reciprocal noise of fiber-optic gyro and presented the relevant method of depressing or eliminating the noise.As one of the most important factors, temperature affected the precision of fiber-optic gyro. Especially optical fiber ring and light source which induce the temperature noise of fiber-optic gyro severely affected the output characteristic of fiber-optic gyro. Besides adopted appropriate light source and proceeding temperature control, developing the structure of fiber-optic ring, we needed to consider the impact of environment temperature and heat source itself on the apparatus.The shell structure of fiber-optic gyro was designed incloded mainly two kinds of materials: controlled expansion coefficient alloy and hard aluminum alloy L12. Internal heat source adopted ASE light source. When we carried out thermal analysis towards shell structure , we discovered that there has been superior heat in ASE light source conducted to the optical fiber loop and brought definite temperature gradient in optical fiber loop. Therefore, on the base of inherent shell structure ,we put a piece of ceramics heat insulation loop (λ= 1 W/(m℃)) between bed and optical fiber skeleton in order to heat insulation. After put the heat insulation loop, most of heat gave out by ASE light source was obstructed by heat insulation loop so that the impact of optical fiber loop were suffered from intrinsic heat and ambient temperature obviously wane.
