Experimental Research On Shear Strengthening Of RC Beams With CMMR

Based on the research of the problem of reinforcement in realistic projects.Sheared to the CMMR(composite mortar laminate reinforced with mesh reinforcement)to reinforce the RC beams to carry on the analysis and some experiments are studied in this paper. The main contents are as follows:1,The problem for strengthening design of RC structure which aims at researching on shear strengthening of RC beams using CMMR and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of strengthening design is presented in this paper.Put forward the strengthening methods in this paper.2,The shear mechanism of the RC beams is discussed in the paper. It is assumed that the shear mechanism of CMMR is consistent with the stirrup,so the contribution of CMMR in the test can be analyzed. The truss-arch model is introduced. A simplified formula for the shear capacity of RC simply supported beam which strengthened with the CMMR is proposed in this paper.3,The shear capacity of RC beam strengthened with CMMR is studied.Though the test of fourteen simply supported reinforced concrete beams and five overhanging reinforced concrete beams with CMMR,it analyses the effects of shear-span ratio,web reinforcement ratio of CMMR,style of loading,preloading on strengthening,and compares them with RC beams using ordinary stirrup.4,According to the test results,the computational formula of the shear load capacity about overhanging reinforced concrete beams with CMMR is established.The experiment results and theoretical prediction are basically agree.5,On the basis of the consideration of many interface shear stress influential factors,a formula is established.By comparision,the formula matches well with test results.6,The text, quoting other relative documents, expatiates on measures to strength shear resistance of RC beams using CMMR and methods to repair RC beams and summarizes a lot of experience.
