Fin stabilizer, which has been used more than seventy years, is the main equipment to stable the ship. But it is not so excellent that there are many problems to solve. Most of the fin stabilizers we use now are angle-control system, whose control torque is gotten by the calculation of fin angle. Because the relationship between the lift on the fin and the angle is gotten by the hydrodynamic experiment, which has great error, especially dynamic hydrodynamic experiment, the control torque gotten by the experiment can not counteract the wave torque well and the stabilization result is not perfect. If we could obtain the lift directly all the problems in angle transition will be avoided. That's the principle of lift-control fin stabilizer.Lift-control fin stabilizer is a new kind of perfect stabilizer, whose control theory is improved on the basis of classical one. The research on lift-control fin stabilizer is so significant to improve stable effect and make the stabilizer work better.In this essay, firstly on contrast with angle-control fin stabilizer system, lift-control fin stabilizer system has thoroughly been studied, and the model of lift-control fin stabilizer system is built. By comparison, obtain that lift-control fin stabilizer can fundamentally solve the problem that estimates the lift of fin in angle-control fin stabilizer brings. Secondly, on the basis of reviewing and summing up the research on lift-control fin stabilizer, construct and consummate the hardware installation of the test platform of lift-control fin stabilizer; referred to the design of angle-control fin stabilizer, consummate and debug the software supervisory system of the test platform of lift-control fin stabilizer. At last, through the experiment, confirm the performance of each of the test platform of lift-control fin stabilizer, and obtain some beneficial experimental materials and experimental conclusions. The experimental study result proved that the strength track performance of the load-lift system can satisfy the experimental request; but the strength track performance of the lift servo system dissatisfies theexperimental request, and also needs thoroughly conduct the research and analysis on system itself and the lift survey signal.
