Train's controlling and recording device in running is developed on the basis of analyzing the railway facility situation of our country and the actual transportation demands, it controls train's speed in order to ensure the train's safety on the running. The device can control train's running accurately and protect train's security by sampling and recording various message of the train in time. Therefore the train's controlling and recording device in running is the essential assistant facility in locomotive movement. Based on it, the thesis introduces the study and the design of control function of the device.First of all, the thesis introduces the development history, system structure and characteristic of this device, and also tells the general situation inside and outside. Second, the thesis introduces some theory knowledge on the locomotive controls. Afterwards, the thesis introduces the fundamental principle of VxWorks which is the system platform of Controlling and Recording device, and also introduces some developing experience of VxWorks system and the integrated development environment Tornado. In the aspect of the dual redundancy control of the train, the thesis expounds the design of hot standby back-up, the sampling signal, the output signal, supervising pattern, the keyboard input information, the CAN bus communication and so on, especially the CAN bus. Finally the thesis lays heavy stress on the aspect of controlling function, through comparing several kinds of monitoring patterns, the continual speed control pattern is selected. The thesis discusses several different situation in the process control module and increases the content of the real-time pronunciation prompts about the train's speed, it is convenient for the operation by the driver.
