Along with the improvement of the submarine in quiet capability, exploration for long distance needs the low frequency active sonar imminently. In this result, the low frequency, high power and small dimension transducers for deep water become the primary candidate and also become the primary aspect of research by transducer investigators.Using Reyleigh method, this paper deduced the vibration and displacement curve basing on the edge strengthening and edge support boundary conditions. Then, using the ANSYS mode analyse, this paper got the vibration and displacement curve of the finite mode, and compared with it, paper also got the boundary conditions which was suit for the new types of bender disk transducer. In this boundary condition, this paper deduced the effective electro-mechanical coupling coefficient, centralized equivalent parameter and some other basic parameters, and compared the characteristics between Rayleigh method and ANSYS finite method. Then, this paper used the software ANSYS to analyse the influences of the frequency and resistance characteristics which were brought on by structure parameters of the transducer, optimized the size of structure by using this result and designed the new types of bender disk transducer for experiment. At last, it got the resonance frequency, resistance, transmit volt resonance of the transducer by solution processing in ANSYS.According to these work above, we manufactured and measured the real new types of bender disk transducer, got its resonance frequency in water 2.97kHz, transmitting volt response 130. 5dB, -3dB band width 700Hz, finally comparing with calculating result.
