The article aims to solve the problem of the dam foundation seepage of the Gongshang reservoir.The reservoir lies in Linzhou city and the total storage capacity is 31.2 million m~3. it is a loam core rock-fill dam, the highest height of the dam is 58.95m, the thickness of granulated cobble of the foundation nearly 30m. because of the core crack, turbid water form downstream, the lower flood control standard (no more than 200 years as soon as to meet) and so on, the development of the reservoir benefit have restricted, must adopt measure processing. The difficulty of that intend to get out of danger and to reinforce is the foundation leakage, for the depth of drill hole may reaches 83m, not only the scheme but the technology need to have a breakthrough.The high-pressure spray grouting technology is a developing method of the soft base reinforcement and the foundation guards against infiltrates. At the end of 1960s, Japan first invented the technology which utilize the high pressure to spray to reinforce soft subgrade. In the middle of the 1970s, Chinese metallurgy and the railroad department start to use high-pressure spray grouting to reinforce the ground. At the beginning of the 1980s, the water conservancy department of the Shandong Province starts to apply this technology to the dam foundation guards against infiltrates in the project, first put forward the theory that "the high pressure vectored injection grouting constructs guards against infiltrates the wooden fence". Lower cost, faster construction speed, bigger intensity of solidifies body, higher reliable, and be good at the temporarily infiltrates and dam foundation seepage, these are the merits of the technology .The article system narrated the applied research process: according to the existence problems and the engineering geology situation of the reservoir, after schemes comparison, utilizing the high-pressure spray grouting to settle the foundation leakage.
