In this paper, the research result is mainly applied in groundwater control projects in deep foundation pit in the fields of hydro and hydroelectric projects, industrial and civilian construction, energy sources, traffic, metallurgy, mine and others. The optimum water control plan is obtained through optimizing the groundwater control plan in deep foundation pit taking safety and rational in economy and advanced anti-seepage technique as the principle. The research result is systematic and substantial in theory and perfect in technical measures with originality. The main contents are as the follows.Through the analysis of lateral sealing curtain in various structures, the optimum structure of vertical anti-seepage curtain is obtained. Through a vast of observed data and method of mathematical statistics, the relational formula is obtained between grouting diameter in sand soil layer and main effective factors of lifting velocity and grouting pressure and soil layer intensity and vibrating angle. In the paper, the optimum holing form and principle are put forward for the horizontal anti-seepage curtain and it is obtained that the structure with rolling bottom elevation is the optimum one. According to the designed water lowering projects, a group of calculation formulas are selected for water surging volume without curtain. The internal circumferential closed holing form is put forward and also the holing principle. Based on the effective stress principle of soil, the settlement mechanism is analyzed for all-around strata by water lowering.Combining with the practical projects, the research result can not only ensure safety in environment and installations but also produce great economic benefits and social benefits. With the development of high buildings and utilization of underground space, the result must be made further perfection. It is of more practical significance in the field of groundwater control of deep foundation pit.
