As one of forerunner urban traffic systems, straddle-type monorail traffic system was presented in Japanese and the occident in 1960s. But publications about technical development on monitoring on-line the health of anchor screws in the cast steel pedestal for prestressed concrete track girder can not be found. Depending on the project of monitoring system on the health of anchor screws in the cast steel pedestal for prestressed concrete track girder, this paper is accomplished according to the solving and study of problems appeared with the progress of the project.In this paper the structural style of anchor screws in the cast steel pedestal for prestressed concrete track girder is analyzed detailedly, and then domain of operators of mechanical system is determined. By the means of versus analysis of driving modes and the machine styles of kinematic scheme, kinetic program of mechanical system which unites rectangle coordinate style and cylinder coordinate style is presented. According to the kinetic program, some structural styles are raised and analyzed in detail, and then the gross structure of mechanical system is determined.According as actual location of linear guide rail set, its deformation is discussed specially. And then in response to its deformation and the principle of force balance, general equations for the load computation of linear guide rail set in four sliders worktable are established. Radial loads and axial loads applied to all bearings and screw pairs are solved, and so theoretical pretightening forces of elastic supports are obtained. And then based on the theories for bearing, the theoretical radial rigidities of elastic supports is determined.Analysis on natural vibration characteristic of ball screws and kinetic bases in the mechanical system is carried out in condition of physical constraint, and their ten lowest natural frequencies and mode shapes are obtained. Before that, the joint of bearing and ball screw is simplified and spring unit is used to simulate the bearing, so that modalities of ball screws and kinetic bases in condition of more physical constraint are got. For improving vibration resistance ability of the mechanical system and reduction of weight, according to the calculation results, weak links and resonance regions are discussed in order to give optimum design some reference frames.
