With the development of economic construction, long piles and super-long piles appear in the pile foundations field for arising the bearing capacity of piles, but the cost has risen. It appears post-grouting as a new technology in recent years to improve this situation and get higher bearing capacity of piles. The paper introduces construction technology of the post-grouting pile, studies and rounded analyses the engineering properties of the post-grouting pile by the on-the-spot static loading test and numerical analysis. The paper discusses the factors of how post-grouting technique improves the physical and mechanical characteristics of tip layer and lateral soil of the pile by squeezing, feeding, splitting, replacing .The result is the significant increasing of the bearing capacity of piles and decreasing of settlement by the on-the-spot static loading test of the pile and the post- grouting piles. The paper analyses the change process of the engineering properties of the post-grouting piles from the deformation and stress with loading-on process in numerical analysis. It points that it is reliable and reasonable by the result of the numerical analysis and test, attaining the conformity result of the numerical analysis and test. Besides the paper recommends the characteristics, financial superiority and technical advantage of the post-grouting pile by comparison of the engineering properties pile and post-grouting piles. The studies show that the post-grouting pile has improved greatly the engineering properties of pile and has a good developing perspective, social advantage and financial efficiency by test and theory analysis.
