Combined with Century Talent Project of Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China, the study of long-span curved continuous rigid-frame bridge with high piers, investigated the development of continuous rigid-frame bridge from many countries, based on super and under structure feature analysis, the paper researches the deformation control of long-span continuous rigid-frame bridge with high piers. In details, the following aspects are investigated:1.Combining the structure and load bearing characteristics of long-span continuous rigid-frame bridge with high piers, the paper presents the design and mathematical analysis method for curved continuous rigid-framed bridge.2.According to feature of long-span curved continuous rigid-frame bridge with high piers, including load, structure, load bearing, deformation and technical economy, the paper presented the key-points of deformation control.3. Researched the vertical deformation and lateral one including linear and nonlinear theoretical models, the paper established corresponding deformation control models.On the basis of raising calculation method and engineering control technique of vertical and lateral deformation, putting the deformation control method in actual bridge deformation monitor, the result shows that the deformation control model the paper presented can be applied in deformation control of long-span curved continuous rigid-frame bridge with high piers.
