In the paper, in view of the common problems of destructive illness and ageing illness existing in water conveyance caverns, the author sums up the current research situation of destructive illness and ageing illness and the research advance of prevention and control measures and its development tendency of water conveyance cavern at home and abroad. Linking theoretical analysis with practice through indoor experiment and inspection and site investigation and study, the author analyses the observed data of various actual projects in Shandong Province, discusses the role of the way of illness analysis and inspection and improvement in hydro projects and its aim and research significance and contents, makes a thorough study on illness mechanism and prevention and control measures in concrete caverns for water conveyance. In the light of the status quo of illness control measures in existing water conveyance caverns in Shandong Province and according to the relevant standard demands and applied conditions of projects and existing problems at present, the author sums up the illness mechanism and control measures of water conveyance caverns in different conditions, makes a study of the destructive mechanism of concrete caverns, analyses the destructive cause and course of formation, adopts the advanced theoretical methods and utilized technique in the field of basic science and applied science, puts forward the basic thoughts and control plans for illness and ageing control measures of water conveyance caverns, and also puts forward the relevant treatment measures in practical projects for meeting the concrete demands of design and construction and management units. Through the application in projects and...
