| Fatigue damage is the uppermost damaged style of mechanical configurations. Fatigue is a complicated problem. Nowadays, there isn't an efficacious mathematical model of fatigue established. We can only get credible data of fatigue performance through fatigue test by fatigue testing machines. Nevertheless, the fatigue testing machines existing nowadays are weak in testing precision and testing efficiency. Developing fatigue testing machines of high precision and high efficiency becomes more and more important.A new type of bend moment and torsion co-loaded fatigue testing machine is designed and researched in the paper. A new configuration style and bend moment and torsion's loading style are used in this machine. It can exactly and efficiently test the fatigue performance of shafts while the bend moment and torsion are co-loaded. In this new kind of machine, the specimen is fixed, while the torsion is directly loaded on the specimen and a kind of revolving bend moment is loaded on the specimen. And because of this, the machine can exactly simulate the actual force loaded on the shafts. And the test efficiency can easily be improved. This kind of testing machine is composed of mechanical support system, bend moment and torsion loading and controlling system, bend moment and torsion measure system, and auto-detection, auto-power-cut and auto-count system when the specimen broken. For the mechanical system, first fix its configuration type, and then establish its diorama with Pro/E, and, at last, analyze the strain and distortion of the key parts with ANSYS. The bend moment is loaded by electromagnets. Set three electromagnets on a circle. So their suction can be loaded on the specimen through the arms of the bend moment. And then the bend moment is loaded on the specimen. Design the configuration parameter of the electromagnets using magnetic circuit theory, and check the temperature increase of the electromagnet. And design a power device using IGBT with electric and electron theory. It can supply the electromagnets excitation current which changes regularly on a given rule. Accordingly, the electromagnets can... |
