With the development of space technology, much higher requirement for the point of precision guidance of re-entry vehicle is put forward. This dissertation studies the problem of dynamics modeling, dynamical response, and distribution of moving mass for a re-entry vehicle(MMCRV) under the background of National Natural Science Fund project"precision control and guidance for moving mass control of a re-entry vehicle based on the virtual displacement concept". The innovation of this dissertation includes presentation of the moving mass control program for the reentry vehicle, the dynamics equation of the reentry vehicle with moving mass.In this dissertation, the re-entry vehicle can be seen as a rigid body system composed of a shell of the vehicle and internal moving mass points, By applying the Newton-Euler's method, the dynamical equation of MMCRV are derived and the control mechanism is analyzed according to the dynamical equations.Several influence factors on the dynamical response of MMCRV is analyzed in detail. Among different movement mode of moving mass, the influence of lateral displacement of the moving mass on the attitude motion of the re-entry vehicle is discussed, the effect of different moving mass ratio and axis position imposing on the attitude of the reentry vehicle is also studied. Model reduction based on the simulation results is investigated for sake of the reentry vehicle control system design. The simplified dynamical model reserves the main characteristic of the system. In this dissertation, the main factors that influence the impact point displacement on the earth surface is also analyzed in detail, and six-degree-of-freedom trajectory simulation is presented based on the unsimplified dynamical equations. The cross-range and down-range of the impact point cause by lateral movement of the massing mass is computed by simulation. The results obtained in this dissertation can provide theoretic reference to the further research.
