Slope reinforcement is an important part of rock slope engineering, a typic type of engineering measurements to assure the slope and engineering structure and maintenance's security in mountainous district fundamental constructions. The geologic condition in mountainous district is complex variable, in different geologic, it is very difficult to find the most economically design scheme. Stability of 14 high-cut slopes in Guangdong province is analyzed with typical rock mass structure analysis method and stereographic projection method, and with the numerical simulation method UDEC this paper simulated the excavation and reinforcement courses of the important slopes. Some conclutions and suggestions are based the analysis above.1. The selection of slope reinforcement should follow some rules, which are green and safety, conservation of soil and water, restoring nature and environmental protection. With the development of supporting structure, the reinforcement ways of slopes become more abundant. We should take more attention to the slope green environmental protection on the basis of slope stability.2. Rock mass structure analysis and stereographic projection are basic methods in rock slope stability analysis. This paper used these methods to analyse the stability of the fourteen slopes based close geological investigation and engineering analogy, and get some scientific conclutions.3. According to slopes'stabilities, this paper devided them into four types on the basis of flat-cut and short-supporting, high-cut and strong-supporting. To different slopes, the different excavation and reinforcement schemes are choosed by simple and unified standard.4. Because the test condition's limitation and serious consequences after landslide, this paper simulated the excavatiing and supporting courses of important slopes with UDEC method, anticipated the slopes'developing trends, and get some theoretical base for reinforcement design.5.
