Shuipan intercity railway is a section of Bi(Jie)Liu(Pan Shui)Xing(Yi)intercity railway,which is part of the 13 th five-year intercity railway network planned in Gui Zhou province.Beipan River bridge is an important project of Shuipan intercity railway.The structural plane of the abutment slope is developed,and there are many joints,which have great influence on the stability of the slope.The slope stability is poor after construction and excavation,and there are signs of recent rockfall on the escarpment.This paper analyzes the stability of the abutment slope of Beipan river bridge under natural conditions and loading conditions.The main contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.Based on the existing data and the engineering geological survey of the proposed bridge site,the stereographic projection analysis is carried out on the slope bridge site and the surrounding area on both sides,the stability coefficient is calculated after the preliminary judgment of the sliding mass,and the rock stability of the bridge site on both sides and the surrounding area is analyzed.2.Discrete element software UDEC was used to simulate the stability of slopes in two kinds of working conditions.Based on the analysis of the displacement and stress characteristics of the slope under the natural working condition and the loading condition of the bridge foundation,it is concluded that under the two working conditions,the north bank and the south bank have no obvious deformation and are in a stable state.3.The stability and deformation failure mechanism of the bank slope under natural working condition and the loading condition of the bridge foundation were obtained by making base friction experiment.4.Combined with the results of the three methods above,the slope stability is comprehensively evaluated.It is concluded that both sides of the slope are in a relatively stable state under two working conditions.In addition,it is proposed that certain reinforcement treatment is needed at the shallow slope and the location of the bridge foundation,as well as construction Suggestions for deepening the foundation.
