Suspend-dome is a new multiplex structure system composed of single-layer spherical latticed shell above, prestressed cables below and braces bars used to link them. Compared with single-layer latticed shell and cable dome, suspend-dome can cross a larger span economically and reasonably. In this paper, the suspen-dome structure of the gymnasium for Olympic badminton game in 2008 was used for example. Three projects of different cable form was analyzed the static stability, overall stability and dynamical stability.In this paper, the basis of setting prestress for large span suspend-dome was discussed first. Four prestressed projects set with two different basis was compared the static force stability, the prestressed project of less internal fore and displacement was obtained. According to this project, three projects of different cable form were given to compare the structural static stability, overall stability and dynamical stability.In this paper, through the static analysis, the internal force and displacement of the different cable form projects and the relevant single-layer spherical latticed shell were compared; the effect of different cable form project to the structural static stability was obtained.In this paper, through the overall stability analysis, the flexion eigenvalue, the nonlinear overall stability factor of the perfect structure and the nonlinear overall stability factor considering the initial imperfection of the different cable form projects and the relevant single-layer spherical latticed shell were compared; the effect of different cable form projects to the structural overall stability was obtained. In this paper, through the self oscillation analysis and the earthquake response analysis, the frequency, the oscillation mode, the transverse and vertical earthquake response of the different cable form projects and the relevant single-layer spherical latticed shell were compared, the effect of different cable form projects to the structural dynamical stability was obtained.
