Highway bridge construction was fast development over the past 56 years. Until 2005, the totality of bridges in our country up to near 280 thousand. Some of this bridges must be reinforced because of different reasons (such as: the loads use to design in the past have changed, for temporary pass through giant haulage vehiclesN can not fit in with the needs of today' s communication or be hit by floater over the river , etc. ) . Some of this reinforce is temporary and others are permanent. So, the research of how to estimate the load bearing ability of a bridge and how to chose reinforcement method for a bridge become a renewed spirit branch of learning of today' s bridge construction technology. Wuzhou was hit by floods in July 2005. During that time, the third pier of Yunlong Bridge was hit by several vessels, and the pier got damaged. The traffic through the bridge was held up, serious affect the transportation between two river bank. This dissertation discuss the loading test data, analyze the existing the load bearing ability and stabilization of the pier, according to the analysis, suggest retain existing structure, fill the crack, use to reinforce the damaged pier, fill the steel tube with priming expand concrete, add eight new piles , add a bear platform to made the new piles to work with the existing structure. Through this measures, resumed the integrity, correct the incline. In this reinforce plan, diameter joint of framework use the hydra cone transit. Use a ring beam structure in the interconnection between the new bear platform and existing piles to solve the problem of reinforcing steel interlink.
