Because of its advantages such as longer span, higher capacity, less weight and being convenient for construction etc ,concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) arch bridge develop rapidly in china in the recent years. Along with the increasing of the span, People pay more and more attention to its dynamic behavior. Based on the Wu-xia Yangtze Bridge, the seismic response behavior of CFST arch bridge is proceeded. The main work is summarized as follow:(1) The rigidity of CFST members calculated by different codes have different values. The effect of the differences of rigidity on the seismic behavior of the CFST arch bridge is discussed. Analytical results show that alteration of the compressive rigidity has a greater influence than the flexural rigidity.(2) With the parameter of the length for the concrete in tube, the seismic behavior of the hybrid arch bridge of steel tube and concrete filled steel tube is analyzed by ANSY. The results show that when the concrete in the tube was filled to the crossing point of the rib and dect, the seismic behavior of the hybrid arch bridge is preferable.(3) The comparison of seismic behavior has been done among steel tube arch bridge, concrete filled steel tube arch bridge, hybrid arch bridge of steel tube and concrete filled steel tube.(4)Because of the heart concrete quantity of CFST can not be controlled easily, the sprinkling quantity of concrete is not good, the temperature change etc, make steel pipe and the concretes often appeared the crevice. Presently people has paied attention to disintegration in radial direction between steel pipe and concrete, but not enough to the influence of disintegration in portrait direction. The analysis shows that it has a great influence where is only steel pipe.
