Irregularity, uncertainty, fuzzy and similar itself characteristic of concrete material reflected complexity of its pore structure synthetically. This article studied the fractal characteristic of pore structure based on the fractal theory. By means of MIP experiment to test the pore structure of the concrete in terms of microcosmic.Based on the pore structure characteristic and Von koch curve, we constructed the pore axis fractal model and ascertained the computational method of the pore axis fractal dimension.Carried on the MIP experiment to obtain pore structure parameter and analyzed the pore structure characteristic of concrete in different water-cement ratio and different carbonization days. The internal structure complexity of concrete material was promulgated from the microscopic mechanism based on the fractal theory.Through the compressive strength test, we established the relationship between the microscopic pore structure characteristic and the macroscopic physical performance. The analytic results show that the essence of concrete material can be indicted by the volume fractal dimension and the pore axis fractal dimension.
