With the development of the technology of remote sensing underwater, as the key part of the sonar system, transducer is used much more deeply in wider field, so it is necessary to equalize the pressure of the inner and outer of it. The transducer is often used underwater 0 to 75 meters below, so air pressure compensation is the best choice. My thesis mainly researches on the pressure compensation system for transducer underwater. The object is to design a pressure compensation system with high control precision, answer fast and it can work underwater for long time.The whole thesis consists of six sections:Chapter one first briefly states the theory and application of remote sensing underwater, then introduces the research situation and direction and developing-history of the technology of air pressure compensation, it is pointed out why my thesis is done. In the end, this chapter shows the subjects of main research work.Chapter two concludes three methods of air pressure compensation system and researches on the closed loop air pressure compensation system mainly by Analyzing their advantage and disadvantage. And the key parts of the system in tails and the control of it is analyzed.Chapter three analyzes the working process of system and the research on the key components as air compressor and proportional pressure valve and builds up mathematical model of the system, based on the thermodynamics and mechanics analysis, The working characteristics of the system are researched on by the simulation. The results proved that the design meets the required precision and the air was used circularly.Chapter four mainly designs the system including the hardware and software development. There are pipeline design of system, electrical control system design, PLC programming, And develops an experiment platform for improving and optimizing the performance and transient control of air pressure compensation system. Proves the model by comparing the results of simulating and experiments.Chapter five researches on the working characteristics of the system by simulation. Then, the influences on the system brought by the parameters as the respond time of proportional pressure valve, the cubage of higher pressure container and lower pressure container, and the flow rate of the compressor.Chapter six is the conclusion and expectation of my thesis.
