In this dissertation, a set of the thermal resistance control scheme based on the Peltier technology has been put forward before the analysis of the development of the thermal resistance. And then, the thermal resistance virtual prototype for the mechanical parts and electrical devices have been set up respectively. The detailed process for that virtual prototypes will be introduced in each chapter as follows.Chapter 1, after stating the status and developing trend of the research of thermal resistance, we illustrated the important meaning of building the thermal resistance virtual prototypes based on the Peltier cells and the traits of that virtual prototypes. The research content of this dissertation is advanced. Meanwhile, each chapter of this dissertation is arranged.Chapter 2, after introducing the important role the Peltier cell functioned in the thermal resistance control, the working principle and characteristic of the Peltier cell have been described in mathematic way. Then the mathematic model is set up. These works will establish the academic foundation for the thermal resistance built in chapter 3 and chapter 4.Chapter 3, this chapter will build the thermal resistance virtual prototypes for the machine tool guide. This virtual prototype can let us thoroughly understand the thermodynamic mechanism of machine tool's thermal distortion. Before set up this thermal resistance virtual prototypes, we need built its mathematic model. For the deep research, we apply the discrete thermodynamic analysis and define the concept of the virtual thermal resistance in the heat control of the machine tool guide. After analysis every discrete cell's thermal situation, we can use Matlab to solve that set of temperature equations, then the whole temperature field of the guide can be exactly simulated. We may change the parameters of the system, and simulate in the thermal resistance virtual prototype. According to the results obtained by that virtual prototype, the influence of that parameters function to the virtual thermal resistance and temperature field can be investigated.Chapter 4,we adopt the positive control strategy to control the euthermic chip's virtual thermal resistance. Firstly, we set up the mathematic model the same. Secondly, using Simulink technology to set up its thermal resistance virtual prototype. The discussion is divided into two different situations according to the ambient temperature is variable or not. Several control strategies are tested in that virtual prototype.
