Skin effect tracing system is characterized by adjustability, safety and reliability, easy installation and maintenance, high efficiency of heating, easy control. It becomes the developmental direction of tracing system. The skin effect tracing system which is commonly used nowadays is on the basis of main frequency power. The output power of this kind of system is invariant no matter the external environment temperature changes. Besides, the control method of this kind of system is off-on control, the efficiency is low and the control effect is far from ideal. In this paper, the control of skin effect tracing system is realized by IGBT bridge inversion circuit. The theory, design method and control method is researched. On the side, this paper also brings forward a joint decision-making method based on multi-sensor technology. The research obtains a satisfactory result.The main research could be divided into several chapters, such as following:In chapter 1, the developing history and application area of electric tracing system is summarized. Then the advantage of Skin Effect Tracing System is analyzed. At last, the main contents and requirements for this research are proposed.In chapter 2, the structure and component of Skin Effect Tracing System are investigated. The phenomenon of Skin Effect and Proximity Effect is analyzed. Then the finite element analysis is carried out. At last, the design scheme of our experimental facility of Skin Effect Tracing System is introduced in detail.In chapter 3, the application of fuzzy logic control method in Skin Effect Tracing System is researched. The detailed process of the design method is given in this chapter. Then the classic PID control method and fuzzy logic control method are compared by emulation.In chapter 4, the problem which is caused by using only one temperature sensor in the long distance Skin Effect Tracing System is pointed out. Then a joint decision-making method based on multi-sensor technology in Skin Effect Tracing System is brought forwards.In chapter 5, the experiment of the research is summarized.In chapter 6, the research work is summarized and perspectives on the future are presented.
