The optical systems often consist of the optical accessories of the lens, prism, spectroscope, reflector and so on, their surfaces usually contain two classes which are sphere and plane. Because of their unique capabilities in optics and along with the fleetly development of high-tech, the applications of cylindrical lens and cylindrical systems are more and more broad, such as line-focus systems , film-playing lens , scan-imaging systems of the electrographs and printing-typeset equipments all need the cylindrical optical accessories participate in. These applications need the high precision's methods to ensure the measure exact and reliable. This paper analyses several methods of cylindrical measures , based on their advantages and disadvantages, adopt the absolute measure's method in cylinder as the basic theory. This paper has used the software of ZEMAX to analyse the suits of cylinder, designed and processed the mechanical structure of the suits . Used the Fizeau interferometer as a mainframe , collocated the computer and other equipments, carried through three-time absolute interference measures to cylindrical lens. that is a routine testing. another testing the test surface is rotated through 180° and the third testing the test surface is in cat's eye position. put forward methods to make certain the interferograms's space and to ensure interferograms's space accordant . Eliminated the errors of the interferometer, suits of cylinder , standard reference plane , heightened the precision of the test surface .
