With the rapid development of hydroelectric project construction, the closure is more and more difficulter. In this paper, Based on closure of LuDing hydropower station in SiChuan province, the author systemic overviews and expounds the latest technologies, methods and thinks; Summarizes the obedience rules through closure design; Put forward the basic countermeasures in order to reduce closure difficulty; introduces hydraulic calculation of closure on diverse closure type. Through Closure model test of LuDing hydropower station, the optimumest closure scheme is brought forward. it is emphases studied of closure dyke end slump in deep water closure, and its solving measures are received. Major outcomes in this paper are achieved as follows:In the thesis, author introduces basic contents of closure design, speaks about closure scheme's select principle, and concludes closure hydraulic calculation formula and method of different closure schemes; writer also analyzes and summarizes ways of bank advancing produce and reducing closure's difficulty. Countering closure dyke end slump when we are closuring in deep water, what have been exposed in the initial stage of the LuDing Hydropower station's closure model test, the paper analyzes and discusses what reason of bringing about this phenomenon.
