whole arc windscreen which widely used in model fighter plane is high-powered composites. Being a technology-intensive product, the whole arc windscreen has many strict requirements in structural intensity, optical capability, multifunction, reliability and serve life, and its manufacture technology is complex,and as a reason only a few developed countries has the ability of design and manufacture it for many years. The first set of equipment for the whole arc windscreen modeling in China has designed and put into service in ChengDu Aircraft Industrial Co,.Ltd. The mission of the project is realize auto-controlling of the equipment.In model industral control domain, auto-controlling systems based on PLC(Programmable Logical Controller) had substituted conventional relay control systems. PLC is based on microprocessor , and it's a all-purpose industrial control equipment which integrate computer technology, auto - control technology and communication technology. PLC has features of small size, powerful functions, convenience in maintenance, simple in writing codes and high reliability, and it can be used to form complex industrial process control network. With its advangtages, PLC can be used as the core of the auto-controlling system.The project is set forth to design a suit of auto-controlling system to automatize the whole arc windscreen modeling of ChengDu Aircraft industrial Co., Ltd. The system is based on S7-200 CPU226 design, in which PC and PLC were connected by Simatic Net(MPI). The main research work and results are as follows:...
