| The paper mainly discusses decoding a kind of time code called IRIG-B and the realization of network time service based on the decode method. Accurate, reliable time is used widely in satellite, network security and time service for power system. The paper comes up with the realization of embeded network time service based on B code which combines the conveninence and low cost of network time service and the high precision of IRIG-B code, because the realization doesn't need the participation of PC thus boost the reliability of the time service and reduce the cost greatly, so it is a live idea. The paper discussed the resolution of decoding B code in detail, advanced several different methods that can meet different applications' need. The algorithms, flows and key code of the realizations are gave in detail.Although the job discussed in the paper focuses on the time service for lan, but the contents mentioned have more popular actual meanings. The distribution of the embeded system's data and the hardening of software are hot spots of current research, how to realise those questions under current equipments and technologies is paid great attention by research staff.
