The External prestressing technology has such advantages as convenient for maintenance, efficiency, little loss of prestress. Therefore, it has found wide applications in concrete structure for reinforcement and maintenance. When the External prestressing technology was been used to reinforce old bridges, the external anchorages are the most important parts of imparting the tension of external prestress tendon into whole construction safely. Anchorages are very complex structural behavior and exist the phenomena of stress concentration. During the design of extraneous prestressed strengthening technique, toothed plates need careful analysis and calculation to ensure the safety and reliability of external prestressing structures. This paper briefly introduced the stress state of anchor area of concrete and explores the damaged pattern and the method. At the same time, this paper regards the reinforcement design of BURRI bridge as the research object, adopt finite element program ANSYS to emulate the model, and the stress field of anchor was given and pointed out the weakest zone of concrete at the different construction operation. According to the analysis result of this paper, the project of the toothed plat steel bars design is made, compressive strength and crack properties are researched.
