Concrete ultrasonic non-destructive detection is a new type non-destructive detection method that is recently promoted and applied in the domestic and abroad. Concrete filled tube ultrasonic detection developed based on structural concrete acoustic detection technology, by study , explore, and practice recent years, widely applied in many nations and regions, become a important method of concrete non-destructive detection.Due to imperfective technology management and construction negligence in consruction of concrete filled tube arch bridge, the inner of concrete have defects, hollow, fluff, construction joint, and objectionable bonding between concrete and steel tube etc., therefore influence the integrity and mechanical performance of components in different degree. So supervision and detection of concrete filled tube arch bridge construction quality are very important.Though our state have established "Concrete defects ultrasonic detection technical code "(CECS21:2000), but there is not yet the detection code for concrete filled tube. Namely there is not a proper, reliable, convenient detection method for detecting inner concrete construction quality of concrete filled tube, present general adopt slapping method by listening sound detect, when near deflation opening hollow exist, slapping method is not applicable;To some important components or regions, slapping method could not satisfy requirements, therefore ultrasonic detection method emerges as the times require. Because when ultrasonic wave through concrete filled tube variances of ultrasonic parameters sound velocity , amplitude of vibration, wave form etc. intimately relate to degree of density, homogeneous attribution, and regional defects, hence could apply ultrasonic wave detect defects of concrete in steel tube.The paper comprehensively presents theory and method of concrete filled tube quality ultrasonic detection, combined with engineering practice of East Bridge in Chaoyang Liangning province and Jiangwan Bridge in Jilin province, mainly study parameter character and wave form character of ultrasonic wave that through concrete filled tub specimen with regular defects, realize regular defects qualitative inspection of concrete filled tub, offer beneficial reference for concrete filled tub arch bridge ultrasonic wave inspection, have great practical worth for inspection of actual engineering.
