The object-oriented technology has been used in the software design of aero- engine and its control system. A general platform has been constructed using the Visual C++ language. The program provides two libraries of engine components and control system components, allowing performance simulation and control system simulation using a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface.The mathematical model of a twin-spool turbofan engine is set up, and the"one–pass through algorithm"is used to construct the real time dynamic model. The steady-state and transient simulation of the engine is executed in order to test the effect of the performance simulation platform.A general control system simulation platform of aero engines is constructed on the basis of performance simulation platform. Kinds of control laws are discussed. Two kinds of aeroengine control systems are established to illustrate the validity of the control system simulation platform.In the last part, an adaptive control algorithm library of the turbofan engine is built. Simulation results of the control algorithms show that the controllers have excellent performance in the whole envelope.
