The precision of engine blade surface is one of critical elements to engine performance, during the process of engine manufacturing, testing is an important method to confirm the precision of engine blade surface. In this article, existing technology about engine blade surface is analyzed firstly, basing on this fact, a kind of method of electronic-template in Engine Blade Measurement is presented.The principle and characteristic of this measuring method is introduced first. After that, the framework and hardware of this kind of measurement system is presented, meanwhile, selection of position sensor and data acquisition card is completed through analyzing and computing. System hardware such as position sensor and data acquisition card is simulated by using simulation tools Simulink.Parameters that influence the result of testing are analyzed including number and distribution of inspection points and curvefitting. Through analyzing and simulating, the relationship between number of distribution of inspection points and curvature is concluded. Basing on the same number and distribution of point, the result that using different algorithm is compared.Engine blade surface measurement system is developed. It includes some functions: Getting plan data, processing data got from acquisition card, displaying graph, etc. Collection program used to advantech PCI-1710HG is written. Process of making curvefitting algorithm into COM components is achieved by using Matlab COM Builder.
