| Virtual instruments is a kind of instruments of functional meaning, it is composed of personal computer hardware and applied software .The basic principle is the hardware aquisit singles, then using the software to realize data displaying and measurment.This virtual oscilloscope uses the software labview and the data acquisition KPCI3110.Different from the traditonal oscilloscope, it has many advantages, such as the ratio of price and function is high, the function is expanded easily, short period of development ect.In this design, firstly, installing, configuring and testing the data acquisition, secondly, According to the demand of task, designing the hardware system, including the signal processing circuit, pre-larger, A/D convertor and the bus interface and research some technology of data aquisiton, thirdly, giving some meathlod of processing and measurment to improve the pecision of measurment from the angle of hardware and software, then through the software Labview to realize virtual oscilloscope function, including the function of measurment, frequency spectrum analyze, power spectrum and storing etc, finally, testingt the virtual oscilloscope to prove the function and pecision can reach the demand of designing .This paper introduces the technology of virtual instrument and the meaning of reseaching, then giving the integrate methlod of virtual oscilloscope including the hardware and the software and giving some methlods to improve the pecision, then from the angle of designing the data acquisition, giving the methlod of designing, finally from the angle of software, through writing programme to realize the function of virtual oscilloscope..
