Along with the micro computer and software technology development, the virtual instrument has changed the traditional instrument design concept, originally by the hardware complete function can use the software to realize. Oscillograph is more universal measuring instrument, virtual oscillograph which can realize the traditional oscilloscope function, can also provide traditional oscilloscope did not have the functions, and can completely through the software configuration to achieve, its data processing and results show that are made by computer software system to finish, only data acquisition is the hardware to finish, so would the virtual instrument into the experimental teaching can not only reduce the cost, but also can improve the test efficiency and the quality of teaching.Virtual oscilloscope use graphical LabVIEW virtual instrument development platform to realize, mainly to complete the design of the system software, we adopted the modular design thought, the realization of each function by a module finish. The hardware by sound card collection system, the cost is low, the sound card A/D conversion performance is superior, the mature technology, cooperate with LabVIEW powerful data acquisition and processing functions, can build price quite high data acquisition system. Sound card collection system has16A/D conversion accuracy, the highest sampling frequency for44KHz. The design of virtual oscilloscope in addition to general oscilloscope function outside, still have general oscillograph do not have advantages, such as filtering, spectrum analysis, waveform storage and call, signal correlation analysis, power spectrum analysis and so on, the cost is low, the function can be according to the applied need to constantly expand, and with MATLAB mix design program to data processing has a very ideal result, such as wavelet denoising and adaptive filter design. The user can also on the virtual oscilloscope network remote operation. Finally, the virtual oscilloscope system test and performance analysis, the experimental results to advance the design requirements.
