This automobile backing system is designed and developed in answer to the demand of a certain army's request in the open air. The key point in this project is to back a truck chassis under beneath a certain heavy-duty engineering device, and then remove the oil pressure that supports the lower part of the device so as to let it lay smoothly down on the truck chassis.The working principle and the designing scheme of the system are elucidated in this article. The system obtains the information through the video camera installed in the rear end of driver's cab and displays it in a LCD monitor. After the process of the image, and being judged by the program, the skew of the vehicle is determined and reminds the driver of it so as to give relevant adjustment. The position of the vehicle is also oriented by an ultrasonic measuring system.The traditional process of image is evaded in this system. The image is obtained by the monitor chip and sent to the DSP high-speed processor. Wave-filter is carried out in the process so as make the measurement more accurate.
