Railway signal system is a complex control system,which is made from a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment.It plays an important role in safe, efficient and fast of railway operation.With the rapid development of railway technology, railway signal system become more complex,and the correlation between devices and signals is enhancing.All of these make the actual fault complex and varied.It is necessary to research and develop a new type of railway signal test system in order to detect and, diagnostic fault.In this thesis,one kind of general railway signal test system based on the ARM9 is designed to help staff to find and analysis fault.The whole system is divided into two major parts,including front collection part based on single-chip and motherboard part based ARM9.The dual-port RAM is used to communicate with the two parts. Single-chip 89E58RD of SST Corporation is selected as the main controller for front acquisition part which complete signal acquisition,data storage and other functions.For motherboard part,S3C2440A processor in ARM9 family of Samsung Corporation is selected as the core.And in this part,it uses Linux operating system to complete data acquisition from dual-port RAM,processing,display,storage,transmission,front acquisition control and secondary stored data processing.The function of this test system includes general railway signal's multi-channel acquisition,processing and display,large-capacity data storage with time message,composing multi-point test network and simple secondary stored data processing.This thesis gives an overall program of the system based on the analysis of system acquisition,functional requirements and key technologies.For front collection part based on single-chip,this thesis designs the hardware circuit of the collection part,and presents corresponding signal acquisition and storage programs.For motherboard based on ARM9,this thesis designs the hardware circuit of the motherboard,builds the software development environment and transplants Bootloader and Linux operating system successfully.Then,this thesis completes driver program of dual-port RAM, corresponding application program design and designs graphical user interface based on QT.To confirm the feasibility and meets the basic functional requirements of the system, this thesis completes test,storage and on-chip's secondary data processing and analysis of the two current.In order to improve the analysis function of the test signal,this thesis do some curve fitting to post-processing analysis for test data based on least square method.And at last it gets the basic rules of the test signals and improved the function of the system.Finally,this article summarizes the study and points out the inadequacy of the system and the method to improve.
