Along with the machine manufacture technology rapid development, the product quality unceasingly enhances, to examine the technology proposes the new demand, in the traditional significance very many examinations method already could not adapt the modern manufacturing industry request. Vision detection technique to test with development potentiality technology most in the technological field, It synthesizes utilizes the electronics, the photoelectric detection, picture processing and the computer technology. Machine vision introduces in the industry examination, realize the fast measurement to object (products or part) size or position , it is provided with untouched, fast, flexibility conspicuous merit such as being fine, have important application prospect among modern manufacturing industry. Therefore, this article to the laser scan range apparatus technology conducts the research based on CCD. This apparatus use the line laser carries on the object section outline surveys. Measurement system was composed of line photosource laser, CCD camera, picture gathering card, computer and corresponding survey software. This equipment can gain the information of the depth picture and the distance (size) of the object partial section.This text has carried on the research of two respects of theory and experiment, the main research contents have:1 . After contrasts each kind of form the laser, uses the single scroll type laser the survey plan. Set up mathematics model, and carry on the error analysis. Initially assembles the metering equipment.2 . In view of this system, carry out the disposal method to the image , Includes: Uses the P-Tile method computation threshold value, the threshold value carries on division processing to the picture; Uses the gradation nature heart law carries on thin to the picture; Uses 8 neighborhoods law carries on chirp processing.3 . Experimental study, the test result proves the system performance met the design requirements.
