The Concentric Canister Launch System is a new missile vertical Launch System. The unaided gas exhaust System is another key technique of the system. This paper studies the gas exhaust System. What the author did are as follow:1. The author writed the C programme unaided, it's a second exploitation to the FLUENT emulator. So the simulation results are more vivid and closer to the truth. It's a basic ground of the following study. The meshes ware created in gambit. The area was separated in several parts, different mesh formations and mesh density be applied according to the area's characteristic. The results show that the numerical simulation consumes less time and have high exactness.2. The paper has simulated the two-dimension axis symmetry non-constant flowing state of supersonic and under-expanded jet flow, as the flow is viscous and compressible. From the results, we can observe the developing trend along the axis and the shape of special-complex shock, especially the characteristic details of the flowing fields, and the paper has provided the figure of temperature, pressure, vector, mach isolines at the critical location. And the paper analyzed the flowing characteristic.3. The paper pointed out the defects of the concentric canister launch system in aspect of gas exhaust. From the aspect of the concentric canister's diameters and adding an arc leading board at the canister export, The concentric canister were optimized. The paper analyzed the numerical simulation results of different diameters and gaved a formula, which can determine the diameters of the outer canister according to the mass flux. The methods to determine the inner canister's diameter ware also given. Nine arc leading flow board shapes were analyzed and discard.
