In this paper, according to the design need of branch pipe of XiLongChi Pumped Storage, the numerical simulation of three branch pipe with crescent costal board flow and laboratory measurements were done. 3-D k - s turbulent flow equations and SIMPLEC algorithm were used. Meanwhile, we choose different costal board width ratios, in order to get the trend of head water losing coefficient. The simulating result of three branch pipe flow elucidate that the method can need the practical projects, Comparisons with laboratory measurements result, the model captures most experimental trend with reasonable accuracy. Through Box-Cox commutation the reasonable recursive model was chosen, and optimize the costal board width ratios, so that get the best result of costal board width ratios.
