Inserting Reinforced Bars Technique—drilling holes in a concrete member with special tools,cleaning the holes,inserting the bars in the holes with high strength binding agents,then the steel bars may be anchored in the concrete and the inserted bars may be used to carry force or used as detail bars—is a kind of new construction technique. During recent years it has been widely used in the consolidation and remake projects because of the easy technology, not changing the original shape of the structure, the high speed and the low cost. But former searches focused more on the drawing and anchorage carrying properties of Inserted Steel Bars (ISB), but less on the shear property of interface between young and old concrete by inserting Reinforced Bars.But it is the critical problem in reinforcement projects of concrete structure that the property of bond between young and old concrete is good or bad.This paper mainly studies the ratio and method of Inserting Reinforced Bars and the two factors both affect the shear strength of interface between young and old concrete by inserting Reinforced Bars, referring to the research result of Inserting Reinforced Bars Technique.On the ratio of Inserting Reinforced Bars factors,the paper puts the importent on the influence of the four kinds of ratio of Inserting Reinforced Bars to the shear strength of bond between young and old concrete;and the four kinds of ratio are 0.13%, 0.22%, 0.35%, 0.70%; and they are widely used in practice projects. And get the regression equation of shear strength of Inserting Reinforced Bars- ratio of Inserting Reinforced Bars (4-1), (4-2), (4-3) basis on the test data.On the method of Inserting Reinforced Bars factors, the paper mainly studies the influence of the three kinds of methods of Inserting Reinforced Bars to the shear strength of bond between young and old concrete; and the three kinds of methods are expansile cement adhesive,epoxy adhesive,beforehand burying steel bars;and they are widely used in practice projects. The paper analyses the ralation between the method of Inserting Reinforced Bars and shear strength of Inserting Reinforced Bars basising on the test data;It is pound that the test result is anastomatic to practice projects,and shear strength from big to little is beforehand burying steel bars,epoxy adhesive, expansile cement adhesive.After test, variance analysis is used to study the conspicuous level of factor of the method of Inserting Reinforced Bars to shear strength. It is found that the factor has dramatic influence.In the last part of the paper, several conclusions and prospects are given.
